Exchangers Retubing

MCE Gulf Contracting carries out heat exchanger retubing — the extraction of worn tube bundles, retubing, and reinstallation — to restore exchanger performance and extend the service life of critical equipment.

Retubing returns fouled or degraded exchangers to reliable service, avoiding the cost and lead time of full bundle replacement where retubing is the sounder option.

Scope of Work

• Tube bundle extraction from shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
• Removal of old tubes and preparation of the tube sheet.
• Retubing with new tubes to specification, including expansion and, where required, seal welding.
• Reinstallation, testing and return to service.
